April 8th in NYC the Mikroknytes are to share the stage with Chuck Bettis w/ Dafna Naphtali, Accelera Deck, The Caution Curves and Face Fashe 4. This is happening at Tommy's in Brooklyn. Todd P's website will have the latest information.
The following Sunday the Knytes head up to Boston to rawk at PA's Lounge with Howard Stelzer, Chuck Bettis, and Accelera Deck in a Scarcelight records showcase

Six months later and thankfully the press keeps rolling in on Sess-Supastreng. Richard Moule who writes for Grooves Magazine picked it as a Top 10 record of 2005 and reviews it on Grooves' web site. UK's Furthernoise also has been very kind by giving the 'Knytes a ton of online exposure. Their net label released Mormunizer on the free downloadable "Explorations in Sound Selection 2" album. Sess is reviewed in their featured artist section as well. Word on the street is that the Wire will finally weigh in with their thoughts in the May edition. Derek over the course of the last few months has been mixing a new Caution Curves record and joining forces with fellow ex-DC'er Chuck Bettis as Brown Wing Overdrive as well tweakin' the eq's on the next Kohoutek record which is totally great. Sockets CDR audio zine on the web has just released a mp3 track of a nifty collaboration Derek did with brooklyn native Katie Gately.
