HA! Nothing about Fugazi Here! Acutally the photo was shot from up on stage at last summers Ft. Reno show. Sorry for the misleading advertisement but now that I have your attention....
So what's up with Rocker! Supenova Records? Well, we still exist. I just gave $56 dollars to Post Office for our "high rent" po box. (that is exactly 6 months worth of existence I suppose.) OK, things are not as bad as they seem! So what if we take forever to release stuff. At least occcasionaly you have stuff to look forward to!
The Luna/Wakeoloo split 7" is pressed and I have promised that you Jo Jo fans will see it this February '98. So far not so good for Ex-Atari Kid's debut CD, but loads of kind folks (Labels like Darla, Resin,Motorcoat and Short Round Records) have been releasing exclusive tracks on their own - yo they know whatz up! For now, you will have to wait until I have good excuse to lose a couple thousand dollars.
Speaking of good excuses to lose money, Metallotronic proved a success on all the levels that mattered. See what Magnet Magazine said. Sure I ended up financing a little of it, but the experience was well worth the pain and hardship. In this world of "Cash-Palooza's" Im glad I got to oversee an event that a small community of like-minded folk worked hard to pull this festival off. To all my friends who helped - you deserve a thousand thank you's..... now if anyone wants to buy a leftover Metallotronic T-Shirts, they are only 9 bucks a pop.
I'd better wrap up this "Whats News" section before you click click away.... -
Check out Rob Thornton's upcoming RTFM zine and see our add!

Commodore 64 will be performing at the Black Cat on February 3rd w/Katuscha and look out for something new from them around the corner.

I am in the process of getting Scott Petersen's documentary Out of the Loop a screening in DC. Its all about that happening Chicago underground rock scene. Yep, Steve Albini, Jesus Lizard, Wax Trax, and Touch & Go! are some of the Chicago big names covered.
- Last and surely least, take a look at some pics of my trip to Corpus Christi. Early next year I will treat you to the "Best of 1997" digital cam pix. My friends beware that if it isn't '98 yet, you are not safe from the wrath of my QV-11... and I need some nudie shots to increase my website's hit count.
C'est Tout!
